MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MUNICH’S POP-UP ROOFTOP CHALET WILL REOPEN THIS WINTER

Dubai – SAFARI NET

Back by popular demand, Mandarin Oriental, Munich is delighted to announce the reopening of its fantastic pop-up rooftop wooden chalet styled restaurant, The Alm. Set on the hotel’s rooftop, the specially designed wooden chalet will serve warming local Bavarian cuisine in style, with spectacular views overlooking the majestic Alps, the sparkling winter scenery of Munich and the city’s iconic Frauenkirche church.

Traditional, cozy and inviting, the chalet is a true winter retreat in the city with rich wooden interiors and waiters dressed in traditional Bavarian Dirndl and Lederhosen. An indulgent three course menu can be enjoyed at the special price of EUR 59 per person including specialties such as a traditional Bavarian platter or Vienna organic chicken and schnapps.

The Alm will be open for dinner from Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. between 1 November 2013 and 31 January 2014. Reservations are recommended.

The Alm’s unique setting also makes this the perfect venue for unforgettable Christmas and winter parties, such as champagne or mulled wine receptions. With seating for up to 65 people, the chalet is also perfect for holiday gatherings and can be booked exclusively for both lunch and dinner.
